Common questions

How long does a payment take to complete?

Most payments post quickly after the owner completes the invoice checkout in the Owner Portal. Split Payouts are scheduled for the day after the guest checks in.

How much does a payout cost?

Your first invoice run each month is free. After that, a 1.5% fee capped at $5 applies to additional invoice runs. Spit Payouts do not have any extra cost.

What if I have multiple properties, but one bank account?

Not a problem. Owners can review and pay all their invoices in one place, even if they own multiple properties.

If I enable Split Payouts for an Owner, does this apply to all my reservations, or only certain ones?

Any reservation where Hospitable is your Merchant of Record: Direct Premium and Vrbo Partner with Hospitable Payments.

What can my owners see?

Your owners can see a detailed payout history in the Owner Portal, containing all Split Payouts associated with reservations, and other payments associated with their monthly Owner Invoices.

How is the payment amount determined?

The Management Agreement that's effective on the check-in date is used to calculate the split between the host and owner.

Where are payments available?

US-only. The UK is coming soon.

Can I turn Split Payouts for a specific owner?

Yes, this is an owner-level setting that can be configured for one or more owners.
