Common questions

How long does a payout take to complete?

Regular payouts take ~5 days from withdrawal to owner banking. Split Payouts are scheduled for the day after the guest checks in.

How much does a payout cost?

Your first payout run each month is free (includes one withdrawal + unlimited distributions). After that, a 1.5% fee capped at $5 applies. Spit Payouts do not have any extra cost.

What if I have multiple properties, but one bank account?

Not a problem. If the owner has multiple properties, each with their own bank accounts, their payouts will be received in the bank account they've associated with that property in the Owner Portal. Through the Owner Portal, owners can manage their own bank accounts.

If I enable Split Payouts for an Owner, does this apply to all my reservations, or only certain ones?

Any reservation where Hospitable is your Merchant of Record: Direct Premium and Vrbo Partner with Hospitable Payments.

What can my owners see?

Your owners can see a detailed payout history in the Owner Portal, containing all Split Payouts associated with reservations, and other Owner Payouts associated with their monthly Owner Statements.

How is the payout amount determined?

The Management Agreement that's effective on the check-in date is used to calculate the split between the host and owner.

Where are payouts available?

US-only. The UK is coming soon.

Can I turn Split Payouts for a specific owner?

Yes, this is an owner-level setting that can be configured for one or more owners.
