How do guests know to pay a deposit?
Guests see deposit requirements inside their Guest Portal and receive reminders if it’s not completed. For Direct bookings, it’s part of the check-in process.
What happens if a deposit isn’t secured in time?
You can be notified automatically. Entry details like smart lock codes or addresses won’t be released until the deposit is complete.
Can I charge for damages using the deposit?
Yes. You can withhold or process a charge with supporting documentation. Deposits are held securely until released or triggered manually.
