General Overview

A few things stand out here. Hospitable is the only platform with a free tier (the Essentials plan) and a 14-day trial across all paid plans. Lodgify’s entry price looks low at $20/month, but the 1.9% booking fee on its Starter plan adds up fast once your revenue grows. Hostfully starts at $129/month plus a setup fee, and Hostaway requires a $500 guided setup with no trial at all.

Communication Automation

Smart locks and thermostats follow the same pattern. Hospitable includes both starting from the Professional tier. Smart thermostat sync, which automatically adjusts temperature based on check-in and checkout times, is something none of the other four platforms support at all.

Guest portals and rental agreements are available across all five platforms.
