Managing your vacation rental property effectively is rather time-consuming, especially if you are running multiple listings on Airbnb, Booking.com, and Vrbo.

Guest communication, cleaning, maintenance, check-ins, and check-outs—the list of your duties as a host is endless. It’s all about working smarter, not harder, and Hospitable helps you solve the major points.

But still, it’s crucial to stay updated with the information about your reservations to ensure that everything goes seamlessly and to provide your guests with a great experience.

Luckily, you can take advantage of a useful Hospitable feature called Webhooks. It’s a way to receive reservation details from Hospitable to your server automatically.

So how does it work?

Hospitable can send you webhooks whenever you receive a new reservation for your listing, and every time the status of the reservation has changed or the reservation has been altered. It works as direct communication with your server or through third-party integrators like Zapier.

If we don’t get a successful HTTP response code (i.e. ‘2xx’) from your server within 30 seconds, the system will resend webhook notifications progressively for up to 24 hours.

This way, you’ll always stay updated with the reservation details and be aware when your guests cancel a reservation, changes dates or the number of guests, and more.
