Launched in 2013, Glamping Hub is a luxury camping destination platform that features unique outdoor accommodations across the globe. It allows travelers who love the great outdoors to explore glamping spots worldwide and book exceptional stays to enjoy family vacations and romantic getaways.

So is it a good platform to list your luxury log cabin, unique beach house, or cozy Airbnb boat rental that you rent out to adventurous travelers who want to escape to nature without sacrificing comfort and amenities? In this blog post, we'll discuss what Glamping Hub is, what advantages it offers for hosts, and how you can get started on the platform.

It's important to remember that using a single booking platform to list your vacation rental property can't guarantee consistent bookings. You should list your rental on multiple channels to build a resilient business that can thrive in a competitive STR market. It's a sure way to boost your visibility and diversify your revenue streams.

And if you streamline operations using vacation rental software like Hospitable, you can manage all your listings hassle-free, even remotely, and ensure memorable experiences for your guests.

What Is Glamping Hub?

Glamping Hub is an online booking platform specializing in unique nature-based accommodations and a resource for sustainable tourism. It caters to adventurous travelers who want to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy the comforts and conveniences of a well-appointed accommodation.

The core audience of Glamping Hub is in the United States, which accounts for 64% of the website's traffic (according to Similarweb). The website is also popular in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

The booking platform started with just 200 listings and quickly expanded to different markets. Currently, Glamping Hub offers more than 17,000 unique outdoor accommodations across 115 countries worldwide that cater to every type of traveler.

Travelers can search for accommodations by entering the location they are interested in visiting, the check-in and check-out dates, and the number of guests. After they click the search button, they will see a list of accommodations available in the chosen area.

From here, travelers can filter their choices by price range, number of beds, the type of glamping they want (cabins, tree houses, safari tents, etc.), and whether they would like to have pet-friendly accommodation and access to WiFi. They can also filter search results by amenities, safety features, scenic views, activities, and accessibility features to find the perfect accommodations according to their preferences.

Guests can also search for accommodations around the world by viewing the Types of Glamping page and choose from 33 categories, including log cabins, yurts, tiny houses, vacation rentals, beach houses, tipis, villas, A-frames, designer rentals, huts, hobbit houses, floating homes, and even private islands and castles.

As you see, Glamping Hub is a versatile platform that offers travelers a mix of unique accommodations to cater to various preferences. Glamping Hub is constantly growing as more STR hosts join the community, so you may consider it another booking channel for your property.

You can expect that you'll get most of your bookings from your listings on major OTA platforms, such as Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com, as well as your direct booking website. Still, adding niche channels like Glamping Hub, Hipcamp, Expedia, or Houfy will allow you to gain more exposure and connect with a broader audience.

And if you opt for Hospitable, our tool can help seamlessly sync calendars across your various booking platforms and prevent double bookings with iCal imports. How Does Glamping Hub Work for Hosts?

If you own a vacation rental property that falls under one of the types of glamping and offers immediate access to nature, you can list it on Glamping Hub with no contract and no fees to join. You can visit their Become a Host page and fill out the form to sign up. They will be in touch right away with further details.

You'll need to upload your photo and provide your nickname, which will be used to identify you as a host on the public site. You must also enter your first name, last name, email address, and phone number and choose your currency and country. Depending on your location and the country you're hosting, you'll also need to provide an official government ID to accept bookings.

Glamping Hub's marketing professionals will create an SEO-optimized listing to promote your rental property and highlight all features that make it special to attract your ideal guests. You will set your calendar, rates, and requirements with the help of the Glamping Hub team.

When your listing goes live, you can communicate with potential guests via the communication thread in the Glamping Hub dashboard and start accepting bookings. When you confirm a booking request, you'll receive your guests' personal contact information, including phone number and email address, and you can communicate with them directly.

Glamping Hub handles payments and will charge your guest's credit card once you confirm their reservation. You'll receive full payment the day your guest checks in, via direct deposit or PayPal.

Remember that while you can list your property for free, Glamping Hub charges a 4% host service fee on any confirmed booking through the platform. This fee is subtracted from the total payout sent to the host.
