We’re launching two new offerings. A Direct Premium option and Direct Basic.
Direct Premium is a hassle-free solution, suitable for every short-term rental host. From today, using our Direct Premium product, you’ll be able to:
Use our professional, easy-to-customize website templates or drop our booking widget into your existing setup
Process online card payments with ease, with Hospitable as the merchant of record covering any processing fees associated with a cancellation
Have sales and lodging taxes automatically calculated and collected
Accept bookings with the confidence of integrated guest vetting (powered by Autohost) and $5M worth of damage protection (powered by Know Your Guest)
Receive payouts to your bank account 24 hours after check-in; in most cases
Currently only available for hosts with properties in the USA (including Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands) and Australia. We hope to expand Premium to Canada and the UK next.
Our Direct Basic offering is the do-it-yourself option, available worldwide. This is primarily for hosts that already have experience in taking direct bookings. With Direct Basic, you can use our direct website template and booking widget, but you need to connect your own Stripe account. You’ll be liable for chargebacks and payment processing fees, setting the lodging tax rates for all of your properties, and we currently do not have integrated solutions for guest vetting and damage protection.

You get a custom domain name and website templates optimized for desktop and mobile, and you can display your property however you want. No jumping through 3rd party algorithms or having to follow the status quo.
You’re covered
Direct bookings don’t have to mean that you lose the protections of an online travel agent. With Direct Premium from Hospitable, there’s no need for you to go it alone. We’ll help you to screen guests before they book (powered by Autohost). Plus, insure your property with up to $5M worth of damage protection (powered by Know Your Guest).
Guests are vetted during the booking flow, with you having the choice of whether to accept them or not. And all reservations are covered by insurance. Period.
We’ve powered these features with Autohost and Know Your Guest as they are the experts, giving more short-term hosts access to tools usually only available to those with a large number of properties.
Process payments with ease
Securely receive credit card payments through your website during booking. Sales and lodging taxes are automatically calculated and collected. As the Merchant of Record, Hospitable processes the payment, accepts liability for refunds and chargebacks, and provides customer support during the booking process.
Link any personal or business bank account for payouts and receive funds as quickly as 24 hours after check-in, in most cases.
