Wouldn’t it be nice if you could promote your listings across multiple platforms and not just Airbnb? You know, platforms like Vrbo, Booking.com, etc.
Obviously, it’s possible, but it’s just such a headache! Or is it…
You see, there are a few savvy property managers out there that are driving bookings across multiple different channels, and they’re not even breaking a sweat!
They’re using an Airbnb channel manager to do all of the work for them (don’t worry, all will be explained in just a minute).
So, if you want to jump on the bandwagon and expose your listings to the HUGE audiences of these mega-platforms in a simple headache-free way, you’re in for a treat…
Airbnb Channel Management Software; What exactly is it?
Airbnb channel management software enables property managers (or individuals) to easily promote their Airbnb listings across multiple short-term rental platforms, while also providing a centralized, synchronized dashboard to seamlessly manage each listing across the channels.
Using a channel manager with Airbnb helps property managers expose their listings to more people without the stressful (and costly) process of managing each booking platform individually.
Does promoting your properties on multiple booking platforms actually make more money?
And, is it actually worth it?
In a recent article by Caitlyn Milton at Airdna they tested the performance of multiple listings that were either:
- Exclusively on Airbnb
- Exclusively on Home Away
- Dual-listed on both platforms
They analyzed the data found some pretty interesting results…
From the graph below, you can see that properties that are listed on multiple platforms have a higher Average Daily Rate (ADR).
Revenue per available room (RevPAR) is a performance metric used in the hotel industry. It is calculated by multiplying a hotel’s average daily room rate (ADR) by its occupancy rate. It may also be calculated by dividing a hotel’s total room revenue by the total number of available rooms in the period being measured.
The results indicate that promoting your listing on more than one platform can potentially increase the Average Daily Rate and the Revenue Per Available Room.
So, it’s kind of a no brainer really.
More revenue = more routine?
The answers to FAQs fly out, double-bookings are impossible, cleaners are tasked.
And even more goodies await.
How can a channel manager save you time and money?
Managing just one listing on one platform can be a lot of work, right? Now imagine managing multiple listings across multiple platforms… That’s a lot of work!
Using an Airbnb channel manager is a way of automating virtually all of this workload, saving you time and money in the process.

Manage your listings across multiple platforms; all in one place
One of the biggest headaches of managing your listing across multiple platforms is the labor-intensive process of simply maintaining your listings. A simple listing alteration can mean logging in to countless booking portals to make the change consistent across the board.
The Airbnb channel management software solves this by simply connecting your Airbnb listing to each of the booking platforms. A change in the listing in one place will be reflected elsewhere, seamlessly.
Say goodbye to double bookings!
One of the scariest prospects of listing your property across multiple platforms is the potential of getting double booked.
Now, even if you have a team of people managing this process you still can’t avoid the latency between getting a booking on one platform, and updating the calendars on the other platforms.
Therefore, to successfully market your properties across multiple platforms, this synchronization needs to be instant, with zero lag time. Its instant calendar synchronization across multiple channels simultaneously.
All reservations in one place.
Managing bookings across multiple platforms can be stressful and confusing. The constant ping-ponging from one calendar to the next is a drag, to say the least.
But thankfully, our Airbnb channel manager lets you manage all of your bookings (across all platforms) in one centralized, simple interface.
All of your reservations, from each platform, on a single calendar.
One inbox for everything!
For every booking you have to manage, there is a trail of messages between you and your guests that follows. Having listings on multiple platforms magnifies the workload.
What you need is a unified inbox where all of your messages, from all the platforms, are displayed clearly, neatly and chronologically.
Thankfully, that’s exactly what Hospitable’s Inbox can do for you.
HOW IT WORKS
Hospitable’s channel manager integrates directly with Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo to synchronize data across each booking platform so that you can seamlessly manage the bookings from all channels in one convenient dashboard.
Also, it will automatically ensure that your calendar availability and rates are up-to-date and accurate across the board, so you’ll never need to update these manually across each platform ever again.
How does a channel manager prevent double bookings?
By creating a direct two-way connection between each of the booking channels, updates are made in real-time. With this connection in place, double bookings are virtually impossible, and become a thing of the past!

Airbnb management software is being used by thousands of property managers worldwide to scale up their operations on Airbnb.
But, is it reserved just for property managers?
Or, is it something that everyday hosts like you and me can use too?
So in late 2018, I turned one of my 17 properties into a full-time Airbnb and Booking.com unit, bookable by guests all year round.
But as with any new business, you quickly discover what the repetitive processes are, and you look to streamline and automate as many as you can.
I want to tell you about my experience with short-term rental automation, and give you some insight into my Serviced Accommodation business, as well as my take on using hospitable for the better part of the last year.
The more bookings you get, the less free time you have.
You’re stuck in the old ‘time-for-money’ paradigm…
…and it sucks.
Luckily, however, there are ways (many in fact) that you can run a successful Airbnb business and even scale it up to multiple listings in a way that doesn’t impact your free time.
